Savannah Tourism Field Trip March 2025

This student designed trip took us into the heart of Savannah as they planned a trip as if they were a tourist. The kids started with a water trolley around the river, then they went to see all the historlical elements along River and Bay Streets. It included learning about Factor's Walk and The Cotton Exchange. They followed that up later in the morning with a tour of the Coastal Heritage Georgia State Railroad Museum. They grabbed some local grub...pizza and ate in historic Taylor Square. The next top was the Massie Center where they learned about old fashioned education and more about the Savannah area. Of course they planned to get yummy Leopold's famous ice cream. It was a busy and learning filled trip. Great job student planners!
